Air Blowers
Air blowers use compressed air to cool machinery and ventilate hazardous vapors. These efficient blowers take high pressure air volume from compressors and draw in hazardous air through the diffuser at the blower’s base. The diffuser is housed in a tapered housing made of corrosion-resistant aluminum or steel.

Piston Air Compressors & Vacuum Pumps
Piston air compressor/vacuum pumps use the back-and-forth movement of a piston inside a cylinder to compress gas for high-pressure delivery. As the piston moves downward, it creates a vacuum inside the cylinder that forces the intake valve open and the cylinder to suck in gas. Once the piston moves upward, it compresses the gas and forces an exhaust valve to open and deliver compressed gas. There are several types of reciprocating compressors including stationary, portable, small, large, low pressure, and high pressure. Small reciprocating compressors are commonly used for intermittent duty in automotive applications. Large compressors are used in large industrial and petroleum applications such as oil refineries, gas pipelines, chemical plants, natural gas processing plants, and refrigeration plants. Small compressors are typically one-half the horsepower of standard compressors and have an attached receiver tank. They are suitable for smaller job sites and home use.

Pneumatic Pressure Switches
Pneumatic pressure switches use pressurized gas to close off electrical contact when a set pressure has been reached, on either pressure rise or pressure fall. Pneumatic pressure switches are used in a range of applications including manufacturing facilities, utility plants, public buildings, gas stations, and many other settings. They are also used for in-cell charge control in batteries, traffic counting, and cabin pressure monitoring in aircraft.

Pneumatic Vacuum Filters
Pneumatic vacuum filters protect vacuum generators and pumps from vapors, toxic chemicals, and dust. They filter air to prevent machine contamination and keep components in working order. Pneumatic vacuum filters come in two types: intake and exhaust. Intake filters capture dirt particles and prevent contaminants from entering pneumatic systems, while exhaust filters prevent oil mist from entering work environments.

Pneumatic Vacuum Kits
Pneumatic vacuum kits contain the necessary parts and equipment to keep pneumatic vacuums working properly. Kits include repair kits, accessory kits, and maintenance kits.

Pneumatic Vacuum Replacement Parts
Vacuum replacement parts include components of a vacuum system, such as rotors, vanes, gaskets, drive couplings, silencers, switches, air nozzles, and filters.

Pneumatic Valve Replacement Parts
Pneumatic valve replacement parts are used to repair pneumatic valves and return them to peak operating performance. Depending on the type of pneumatic valve, these replacement parts include a variety of valves, such as airline isolator valves, poppet valves, ball valves, and heavy duty valves. Other replacement parts include exhaust silencers, limit switches, and electro-pneumatic interface modules.

Rotary Vane Air Compressors & Vacuum Pumps
Rotary vane air compressor/vacuum pumps have a rotor with blades set into radial slots along the perimeter of the rotor. The rotor sits in an offset position in the housing so that part of the rotor is always in contact with the inside wall of the cylinder. This creates two sealed areas where the volume changes continuously. At the point where the intake portion of the rotor is exposed, the gas is sucked into the housing and fills one of the sealed areas. As the motion continues, the area the gas occupies is reduced, which compresses the gas. When the exhaust valve is then exposed, the compressed gas forces it open and releases the gas. This method of compression is highly efficient because the intake and compression actions occur simultaneously. Compressors can be stationary or portable and are quieter than piston compressors. They are commonly used in transportation and refrigeration applications.

Rotary Vane Air Motors
Rotary vane air motors work through the expansion of compressed air. Compressed air is pumped into a chamber with vanes, also called blades, set onto a drive shaft in a crescent-shaped sweep. As the air flows into the intake port, it pushes the vanes and creates a rotary motion as it spirals up the blades and is expelled through the exhaust port. Rotary vane air motors are used to start large, industrial diesel or natural gas engines or small, pneumatic motors in handheld tools like drills, sanders, grinders, and cutters. They do not require electrical power and generate less heat for use in more volatile environments.

Vacuum Pumps
Vacuum pumps remove air molecules from a closed volume and exhaust them to create a pressure differential, called a vacuum. This vacuum converts mechanical energy from rotating shafts into pneumatic energy. Vacuum pumps are durable devices that can withstand strong pressure differentials. They come in lubricated and non-lubricated forms. Lubricated vacuum pumps have longer life spans and are able to create a higher vacuum because the lubricant acts as a sealant.

Hydraulic Gauges
Hydraulic gauges monitor pressure and temperature within a hydraulic system. They are manufactured with different accuracies, pressure fluid compositions and temperatures, pressure ranges, and mounting methods. Gauges are also manufactured for different environments. Some hydraulic gauges have stainless steel parts that prevent corrosion and allow outdoor use. Other gauges are vibration and shock resistant for use in high-vibration environments. A third type of hydraulic gauge combines the two with a thermoplastic case that resists vibrations and corrosion for use in especially harsh and demanding environments.

Hydraulic Motor Parts & Accessories
Hydraulic motor replacement parts repair or replace different parts to keep hydraulic motors and pumps running efficiently. They include motor adapters, on-off motor controls, and seal kits. Motor adapters are mounting devices that connect unlike motor components. On-off motor controls turn on hydraulic pumps when activated and spring-return into the off position. Seal kits contain a wide variety of replacement seals. They typically contain pump shaft seals, thrust plate seals, housing gasket seals, excluder seals, motor shaft seals, seal retainers, and O-rings.

Hydraulic Vane Pumps
Hydraulic vane pumps are rotary pumps that generate power in industrial applications. The cylindrical rotor's vanes trap hydraulic fluid between the rotor and housing to draw liquid through the pump and generate power. Hydraulic vane pumps are positive displacement pumps and are able to withstand high pressures without experiencing vane wear. They come in single and double forms. Double vane pumps can power two separate hydraulic circuits.

Magnetic Brakes
Magnetic brakes reduce the speed of a driven assembly. They use magnets, metal fins, and eddy currents instead of friction to provide braking action. Magnetic brakes consist of one or two rows of magnets and a copper or aluminum fin. To reduce speed, the brake inserts the metal fin between the magnets where generated eddy currents immediately oppose the metal. Commonly used on roller coaster tracks, magnetic brakes can also be used where there is no available electric power. They are much smoother and quieter than friction brakes.

Radial & Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Radial ball bearings handle radial loads effectively in high-speed operations. Also known as deep groove ball bearings, radial bearings are the most common type of rolling-element bearing. Deep, uninterrupted grooves in the raceway are manufactured with high precision to provide strong, consistent performance. Single-row radial ball bearings are non-separable. Double-row radial ball bearings reduce rotational friction in heavy-duty loads. Deep groove ball bearings may also handle light to moderate axial loads, also known as thrust loads. Stronger than shallow groove ball bearings, deep groove bearings require better alignment. Conrad and filling slot are the two main types of radial ball bearings. Also called non-fill slot, the Conrad design features a cage to prevent the bearings from moving. Filling slot bearings have notches between the inner and outer rings for maximum ball capacity, which allows them to carry greater radial loads. Filling slot bearings are also known as maximum capacity bearings or filling notch bearings.
